My Product Isn't Working On My Ceramic/Glass Top Stove

Why doesn't my cookware sit flat or transfer heat properly on my ceramic/glass top stove?

The most common reason you may be experiencing difficulties using cookware on a ceramic/glass top stove is warping.* When pans are warped on the bottom, less of the surface comes into contact with the heating elements of your stove, which can result in poor heat transfer from the stove to your cookware.

Warping most commonly occurs due to an uneven expansion and contraction of the metal of your cookware as it heats and cools. This could be a result of cooking at too high heat, heating your cookware too quickly, or putting a hot pan into cold water.

For the best cooking experience, we recommend using cookware made of stainless steel with a full cap base or stainless steel-clad metal with your ceramic/glass top stove. Always matching the burner size as closely as possible to the pan size will also help avoid warping and ensure effective heat transfer.
